If you have an excel sheet, and know where you want the data to go – I can create an xls4oracle template for your need. If there is an API’s for the load, I will make it work.
The requirements for a data load project are:
- A data owner. The data owner will know all about the source data and the destination. The data owner will responsible for verification of the load to development and prod environments.
- A developer. The developer must have excellent technical knowledge of Oracle Applications. The developer will be skilled (by me) in the development of xls4oracle templates and will be responsible for future xls4oracle template development.
- A data loader. The data loader will be responsible for loading the data into prod environment.
- A reduced set of data, that represent all data to be loaded, should be identified. This set of data will be used in the development process, to build an xls4oracle template, which will do a successful load.
- A development environment. This should be a clone of prod, with same setup.
The data load project will end up with a team, able to do future loads and developing new templates.
